Mesothelioma is caused when the lining of the body becomes abnormal. As time passes, the disease can spread from one organ to another. According to the lawsuit, Zantact claims that their drug is safe. The lawsuit also claims that Zantact didn't cause any health issues or side effects before it was introduced to the market. The company says that the FDA approved it because of the extensive studies that were conducted.

But there's one problem with the lawsuit, according to a Morgan & Morgan representative. "Zantact acknowledges the litigation is ongoing. In recent discussions, the plaintiffs and defendants reached an amicable agreement to settle the litigation without going to trial. The plaintiffs agreed to pay Zantact a significant amount of money as part of the settlement in exchange for not going to trial."

According to a Morgan & Morgan attorney, the settlement amounts that the company will be paying out to plaintiffs is the amount it would have been paying to Zantact if it had won its case in a court of law. The attorney said that the fact that the company is willing to take this step is a positive sign. But he stressed that it shouldn't be seen as a sign of guilt on the part of the company, saying that the company has still not proved that it did not cause any health issues or damages to people.

According to a Morgan & Morgan attorney, the lawsuit is still in the discovery stage and Zantact isn't expected to pay any money until the litigation has been resolved. However, according to the attorney, the company plans to continue working toward finding a way to get its drug off the market.

The lawsuit is not a surprise to many who've been diagnosed with mesothelioma, since Zantac has been under fire for a long time. Some medical experts believe that the drug may actually increase the risk of developing mesothelioma by increasing the risk of breathing in cancer-causing asbestos particles.
